CASA Program of Hopkins County / Family Advocacy Center, Inc.

Organization logo The CASA Program of Hopkins County is under the umbrella of the Family Advocacy Center. The CASA Program recruits, screens, trains and supervises community volunteers to represent abused and neglected children in the Family Court system. Over 700 children were reported abused/neglected in Hopkins County in 2014. CASA is only able to serve 20-30% of the children that enter the Family Court system. We are in dire need of more individuals that are 21 years of age and older that have a few extra hours each week to help a child! Children with CASA volunteers have fewer placement changes, are more likely to be placed with family, they also receive more services and are found to have greater self esteem, and value achievement!
